Not that this is questionable; it"s just that it isn"t clear what it means to say that one has knowledge of right and wrong. Suppose that i do something generally thought to be morally correct, but i do it only to seek glory, not caring about the fact that it is right. Indeed, it looks as though she has built into her account some contentful, and hence controversial, claims about what counts as right and wrong. Wolf"s attempt to incorporate collective common wisdom is praiseworthy, but it"s not clear what role it leaves for philosophy. Well, in thinking back on it you might notice that we"ve looked at lots of philosophers, but they rarely agree with one another usually they disagree, often emphatically.
