Document Summary
Ontological argument, distinction of mind and bind, argument for the existence of external existing bodies. Descartes says if we apply our reason, we introspect, we can come up with truths of our world. If the ideas are perceived, they are innate\ Justification: god placed the ideas in us. If these ideas didn"t lead us to truth, provided reason is used right, then god would be a deceiver. Hard to know ideas are the way because we perceive them, or because they actually true. God shows our reason is reliable when it is applied properly. Gives an argument for the existence of god. It doesn"t mean everything we reflect on is true because we are wrong sometimes. It"s not possible that everything i know is false because god is not a deceiver. We use reason to argue existence of god and we use god to justify the existence of our justified reason. Meditations 5-6: nothing yet proved about the world.
