Document Summary
Continuous capillaries are found thruout the body and they allow things to go from the inside to outside or they have vesicles. The capillaries let things move back and forth easily to surrounding cells. They create a permissive barrier between the blood and the tissue. These capillaries are found in muscle, tissue and connective tissue. They have gaps between the cells and the gapps stay open most of the time. The fenestrations are non energy dependent, its passive. These capillaries allow the kiddneys nd intestines to work efficiently. We want the molecules to move into the blood stream rather easily. Some things move thru by simple diffusion because the conc gradients are different. Vesicles are fatty acid spheres that transfer molecules outside the cell by active transport, this mechanism is very highly regulated. The permeability of the pores depends on the molecular weight of the solute.
