Sometimes we conform just to fit in, to feel less discomfort. 1 dissenter who is wrong: conformity drops to 14% Groups are most powerful when they are unanimous. More people like a certain letter better if their initial/name contains that letter. Extend our self-serving biases to whatever we identify with, such as our in- groups.
