Intense anger/difficulty controlling anger: interpersonal: unstable/intense relationships. Frantic efforts to avoid abandonment: behavioral: impulsive/self-damaging behaviors (e. g. suicide or self harm, identity/self: unstable sense of self and feelings of emptiness, cognitive: stress related paranoid thoughts and disassociation. Invalidating may be a result of absence/abuse/neglect, denial or suppression of emotions. Interpersonal chaos interpersonal effectiveness: mentalization-based treatment, schema-focused therapy, transference-focused therapy.
