Random: very efficient, but not very resilient. Regular: very resilient but not very efficient. Small-world: consciousness is associated with this, optimizes. Nature question: nature of consciousness, how does something like qualia (the blueness of blue) emerge from the physics of the brain. Our cognition may be limited in its ability to explain consciousness. Epistemic: consciousness is something we can never explain. Global workspace theory (bernard baars): unconscious information and processes (the info that"s in the files), the stuff can"t be manipulated unless you bring it on to the desktop, you can manipulate the information. Theory 1: global workspace because it can draw info from the files, your compute can potentially get info from every file.
