Reading: sense of self grew with the story. What do we have the experience of reading. How does reading form the sense of self* Readership: relationship between the reader and the book. We become writers of our own minds. People of certain powers write the lives of other people. We"re always reading: but different modes of reading. Taking us into a place of myth. Prodious: able to changes this change of shape. This connects us. before we had books, we had myths. Oral traditions of stories that shapes our sense of self before books exist. All these references to myth, history, religion etc from alice in wonderland story. Something to be gained and learned in books. Culture is fluid creates a lot of identities vs. pressure to stop that change and only have one identity. A lot of these are actually constructed by ourselves. Strong american western culture: self identifying ourselves.
