September 13th: first class note: lecture one nature of theory. The quest for ultimate information is founded in politics i within the classical world. Do it yourself is better than someone doing it for you. Theoria- tired to the word of god. Political theory is abstract, systematic, and utopian. Local or admitted issues: historical understanding, philological understanding, promoting certain values. Normativity, provide general values that are normal in a standard of measurement. If you want to be a politician: educate people through governments, we train people to be political scientific.
