Ans: mito will be found in an axon, presynaptic densities (axon terminal) can also be found. Nissl bodies only found in dendrites => hall mark of axon: axon hillock devoid of nissl bodies. Part of the blood brain barrier is formed by: the pia mater, astrocyte foot processes, microglia, the arachnoid mater. Ans: b, but the main barrier is the basement membrane of the endothelial cells. The cell bodies of multipolar neurons are not found in: the dorsal root ganglion, autonomic ganglia (both sympathetic and parasympathetic, the ventral horn of the spinal cord, layer v of the cerebral cortex. Ans: dorsal root ganglion cells are pseudo-unipolar not multipolar. Ventral horn and layer v of the cerebral cortex are multipolar.
