Do not memorize the original greek words aner, andros andr- man. Some greek words come into english in two forms gyne, gynaikos gyn-, gynec- woman. Don"t be tricked and think it"s gyn-ec-o-logy instead of gynec-o-logy fos, fotos phos-, phot- light.
