Laccoliths plutons that have flat bottoms or floors and have an arching or doming roof, silica rich magamas that are typically less dense than the crustal country rocks. Lopolith a concordant pluton that has a floor that is concave upward, usually denser than the crustal country rocks, and are compromised of mafic magmas, (so not silica) Discordant intrusive pluton one that has contacts that cut across the structurers of the surrounding country rocks.
