Paradoxical britain is lacking logic how: they say that they are going to other countries to help the people when in reality they are exploiting the nations and their native people, integrating imperialism with patriotism. Considering imperialism as part of your life, part of your being. No emphasis on race, superiority, etc not ignorant, but unaware (the natives of each land) The press is controlled by money and advertisements // they control what is publicized and what is not. 19th and 20th centuries are times of nationalism: nationalism: patriotic feelings and efforts. What other public groups control/support imperialism: political parties. Christianity, the spreading of christianity is believed to be the main goal of imperialism. This is supposed to be the reason that countries are invading other countries, philanthropy.
