Khruschev"s speech: which policies of stalin did khruschev criticize in his speech at the twentieth. Khrushchev mainly criticizes stalin"s tendency to believe that he is the superman of society, acting for his country as if he were akin to a godlike gure. Additionally, he addresses stalin"s ignoring of important issues in the soviet union such as declaration of abuse/brutality toward the party statute. Although stalin [probably] knew about these declarations, he refrained from expressing them for whatever reason. Upon sergey kirov"s murder in 1934 several acts were put into play regarding investigations and punishments. The suspect of kirov"s murder was/is nikolayev, who was arrested due to suspicious behaviour a month prior to the murder. Kirov was also suspected of working with nikolayev to murder kirov. Khrushchev says that during world war two stalin was incredibly demoralized especially during the rst few months of the war.
