The rise of hitler was considered to be inherently german for the following reasons: It has abundant natural resources which allow it to take advantage of industrialization. Colonization of africa: they demand to get colonies because they missed out and all of europe basically got what they wanted. Kaiser wilhelm ii: weltpolitik (cid:498)world policy(cid:499, germany needs its (cid:498)place in the sun(cid:499) i. e. colonies in africa, they start to feel bullied and vulnerable, and think europe is against them. Key to their security is a navy: germany does not have a large coastline or a large colonial empire (major grievance) so it does not need a navy. Germany falls behind after the creation of the dreadnaught.
