Civil liberties on home front examples: us + canada. A government committee that will be in charge of issuing information about the war. The idea was to tell the american people as best as you can, what is happening, what the goals of the war or and how we"re doing. Started out fairly innocently, people should know what is happening. They began to take on a different tone and some of this is government driven (federal government). A lot of local governments began to pick this up. People who decided to take the law into their own hands began to do this. The government is not sponsoring all of this. The desire is conformity, we should all be thinking the same way. Anyone who does not conform will be in trouble. E-mail can be hacked so that the government knows what you"re doing all the time. 1917, a movie was produced about the american revolution.
