Family members can often say things to their children that impact their self esteem. The doctors would rather get the patients in and out. Getting over looked on a lot of health issues. Not getting jobs because of the weight (house-keeper) 12x more likely to get looked over because of the weight. Obese men only make 3% less than the average person in the workplace (women make almost 6% less) Bad clothing and eating bad food all the time. It"s hard for girls because there is an image of how you are supposed to look. Women tend to be more susceptible to weight bias at lower levels. Fighting obesity does not mean fighting against it; it means supporting people who do have obesity and helping and encouraging them to eat a healthier lifestyle.
