Document Summary
Whatever you have you will not have enough of it. We can never have enough for everyone. You will never have enough to help everyone who needs it. There will always be people who need more than you have. By accident, your institution constantly benefits one group of people at the expense of the other. Criminal justice involves punishing the offender, isolation, and consider rehabilitating the offender. We must be able to inhabit the environment equally. Treat equals as equals and those who are unequal should be treated unequally. How you treat someone depends on how similar they are (ex. Two people w/ stage 4 cancer would be treated the same but differently than those with stage 1 cancer) Recognize the possibility that interests are informing your decision. Shouldn"t be discrimination based on irrelevant information. Discrimination involves choosing preferences based on irrelevant or stereotypical views (negative)
