There"s no guidance of what pas applies to, there"s no direction, so those of us that are professionals, contentious, and people who have interest- this is important. Distinctions euthanasia, we think of that as a dangerous term, and it can in certain uses. Active - roughly, involves killing a patient. This is often what people have in mind when they simply speak of euthanasia. Active- you"re killing a patient- basic assumption of most people, this is the behavior they don"t want. Dying= someone kills you, so they"re murderers, but murder indicates that you recklessly and purposely killed someone, and there"s no defense for it, lots of people are in this category. Other ways to kill people- not see them crossing a street, doesn"t make it morally blameless but not the same as murder. Be careful to distinguish killing from murdering ( wrongful killing") not all killings are murders.
