Large diameter fibers exhibit signs of demyelination thereby leading to decreased muscle contraction times: fast twitch mu has the largest diameter and is the most myelination. Black - fast twitch: size of the type ii muscle fibers is much smaller = less force = less chance of staying upright, square stepping exercise, commit to it for 6 months reduces risk for falling.
