Bad things were done everyday by normal people. Wanted to study obedience- having authority gure telling you what to do. One person was the teacher and one was the learner. The teacher is told to give electric shocks to the learner to see how far they"ll go. Learner stops answering and the researchers tells the teacher to continue. He feels very uncomfortable but he still keeps teaching. Researchers stops and asks him some questions. He claims he couldn"t stop because the researchers wouldn"t let him. People do as they"re told regardless of the consequences as long as an authoritative. Subject wasn"t aware of the purpose of the experiment. They"re weren"t told of the psychological risks they were being subject to.
