Heart and stroke: heart- strongest muscle, size of your fist, heart attack- blood flow i blocked and it gets hypoxic, heart attack signs- women experience shoulder and back pain, chsest discomfort, sweating, nausea, sob and light headedness. If you have a heart attack- 911, sit or lie down, take nitroglycerine: chew and swallow aspirin, don"t take tylenol and ibuprofen. Cardiac arrest vs heart attack: cardiac arrest- heart stops beating, irregular heartbeats- problem with electrical activity, heart attack- problem with circulation, cardiac arrest- cpr, defibrillator. Stroke- blood flow is disrupted and cells don"t get enough oxygen and die: 1. 9 million brain cells die every minute after stroke. Ischemic stroke- blockage or clot in bv when plaque build up: hemorrhagic stroke- when artery in brain breaks open due to high bp and become weak. Fast face- is it dropping: arms- can you raise both, speech- slurred or jumbled, time- call 911 right away.
