As well, the comments acknowledge that there also needs to be psychological preparation to be successful. The mind may influence sport, exercise, performing arts and every day work throughout our life. Perspective is played into our perceptions and decisions. Some are inherently better than others, but they may be improved by practice. In child development physical, technical and psychological skills are learned. These are important to be able to achieve our goals. Psychological skills are not different from physical or technical skills, work improves performance. Psychological skills can also be key factors in helping individuals to maintain motivation and regulate negative effect. Regulating negative effect is important in rehab, while motivation is for exercise. Negative thoughts may be detrimental to a successful rehabilitation.
