This form of thinking has been formulated from participants in such movements who argue media are part of a system of unequal power & wealth. Corporate media, in many ways, reinforce this system by distraction, deception, and misrepresentation. Examples of such figures include karl marx, adorno & horkheimer, and astra taylor. Movements for reform of rebellion also need to use the media for their purposes of persuasion & engagement. Seek to find channels in society to transmit and relay their revolutionary or reformist ideas they are fighting for.
