The singularity is a techniied myth: instrumental to poliical mobilizaion for the powers to be, the singularity helps perpetuate the status quote, by gendering, understanding, and reproducing that is capitalism and the never-ending growth of such. We are not really speculaing the open less possibiliies of what is available to us as existenial beings: instead we are coninually told to develop the world in the way we are. One of the things capitalism pushes for is the singularity . : it is the status quo of maintaining technological growth in relaion to the uninterrupted growth of capitalism. It entails percepions of the future and ime yet destroying those percepions that deviate from this path and those of the past. We are condiioned by the images we consume and the promise of limitless power that we associate with technology: the relinquishment of ones agency.
