The effectiveness of 24/7 lies in the discrepancy evident between reality and the switched-on world that cannot be switched off. No individual can operate 24/7, however, there is no place, moment, or space where a person couldn"t potentially shop, game, work, etc. Diminishes modes of work that do not operate 24/7. There will never be a catching up period to adapt to continually changing technologies. We are frequently in a position of estrangement and disempowerment due to the speed at which new technologies are emerging. Accelerated and intensified consumption are the factors which drive the production process. The management of economic behaviour is synonymous with the formation and perpetuation of malleable and assenting individuals . Products are more than just physical apparatuses also include services. Individuals experience the workings of a global economy in very different ways. Those who cannot be integrated into the requirements of markets are deemed to be irrelevant and expendable.
