Patient wanders from home (like maybe flying distance), develops new identity. Patient develops 2 or more separate identities that co-exist. Under stress patient switches from one identity to another (this switching stressor doesn"t have to be very severe) At least 2 or these identities recurrently take control of behaviour. Amnesia for important personal data (don"t know about identity 1 when you are in identity 2) Normal educational background: 37% college, 88% high school. Max number of identities is 60, but could be more! 60% conversion disorder (physical symptoms that are manifested as a result of psychological problems) May have a root personality that knows that there are other personalities. This is rare, but if they have a root personality they can tell you about the others.
