Boarders are hard, policed, enforced, usually has to have state authorization to cross. Boundary is the slight way in which people distinguish themselves from others. Relative deprivation: is a assessed as deprivation in relation to the normal standard of living of a society. Stigmatism > other imposed (from someone else upon you, devaluing your place in society) Deprivation > relational (no imposed, it has to do with how groups of people access themselves against others )
