To truly appreciate a stained class window, you have to be inside to see the beauty. If we are outside looking in through the stained glass window, we can see the structure of the window and how it is contained within the broader structure. Religion in some form or another exists everywhere. Whatever the motivation is for religion, the structure of society and people"s place in society influence the following: Say that religious institutions, actions, and consciousness are on the decline worldwide and will one day disappear altogether. Holds that an overall trend toward the diminishing importance of religion is unfolding in different ways throughout the world. Traditional secularization thesis stated that all societies undergo a process called differentiation, where worldly institutions break off from the institution of religion over time. The divide between religion and the education system is unclear. The modern states are increasingly compelled to intervene in disputes over religion.
