Bourdieu: works to nd out why society works the way it does (things that we don"t pay attention to, that we"ve accepted as common sense/ status quo) Wrote the weight of the world (best seller in france): denaturalizing what we take as natural; exposing the processes of what makes societies the way they are. Individualistic explanations are caused by social problems.
