Attitudes and beliefs are cognitions that are structured into personal construct systems: influence outlooks, shared outlooks influence social order. Facts on aging quizzes ask questions about old age. Incorrect answers used as indicators of stereotypes= assessment of beliefs: (cid:498)true(cid:499) responses incorrectly answered as (cid:498)false(cid:499) = positive stereotypes.
