The midterm will be a 2 hour exam made up of approximately 30-40 multiple choice questions and one or two multi-part problems. Note that a number of the multiple choice questions will also involve calculations to solve the problem in the question and choose the right answer. The midterm will cover chapters 1 7 in healey and prus 1st cdn. A z-table (appendix a) will be provided with the exam. 1-7 in healey1st cdn. edition or 1-6 in 2nd cdn. edition and that you understand the material.
