The male gaze in the hollywood film industry is when they present their films from the view of the heterosexual male and objectify women to please this male audience . The concept of the male gaze is a theory coined by feminist film critic laura mulvey in 1975 (mulvey). Mulvey"s concept can be seen particularly in the film wolf of wall street. a very well known film that continuously throughout uses and buys women for their looks and female assets.
