Family based economy all the resources the family owned were pooled together. Patriarchal based family life where husband owns family and land. Children were seen as labor, wives seen as caretakers. Everyone had a job, they were all working no matter if it was the man outside the home, or the women taking care of the kids, or the kids working on the farm.
