Store chemical energy in electrons (in bonds which join atoms of organic molecules together) The sea slug is an example of this. Eats algae but sucks chloroplasts out of algae cells. Instead of digesting the chloroplasts, it absorbs them through their skin, making it green. The photosynthetic organic molecules allow the sea slug to not eat until they have used up their chloroplasts- and they go to eat the algae again. Cellular respiration is when the cell uses oxygen to convert glucose into energy.
