Document Summary

We are not free to enter into the free market. We need to rethink our identities in the context of economics, etc. We have become obsessed with money and our very souls are wrapped up with commercialism and materialism. Helped allies during the war to stop hitler from doing his stuff. Critical of relationship between government, big business, and us. Also very concerned about our relationship with technology. We live in a crisis period but we don"t realize it may not be aware of it, but the promise of enlightenment because of technology has not ful lled it. Technology is supposed to give us more freedom and more time to ful ll the things that we are supposed to do. Have we not simply replaced gods with technology and consumerism, etc. Doesn"t think we are thinking for ourselves any more now than we were before.
