Personal management skills the personal skills, attitudes, and behaviours that expand your potential to growth. Teamwork skills the skills needed to contribute productively. Internal audiences people in the same organization e. g. subordinates, superiors, peers. External audiences are people outside the organization e. g. customers, suppliers, unions, stockholders, potential employees. Paiboc purpose, audience, information, benefits, objections, context. We communicate best when we: consider the results we want, adapt our message content, tone, style, and medium to the needs of our audience. Effective listening, reading, speaking, interpersonal and writing skills are vital. Successful messages build goodwill by focusing on the reader: clear, concise, comprehensive, complete, correct. Week 2 audience and teams: module 2 & 20. Communication process - sender ideas -> message encoded -> transmission signals - Channel overload occurs when the channel cannot handle all the messages being sent.
