Cs100 les 13, growth of telegraph networks replaced the pony express, being faster than ponies. Photography [reproduction of sight: difference between photography and writing is, much lower level of literacy required for a photo. When we read, we are aware of it as a description from someone"s perception. This is not the case for photography, it is more of a representation of reality. But there is a bias perspective in photos as well as literature. Reality vs interpretation: keeping a photograph of someone you couldn"t be with at all times. The unseeable: photography vs painting - artists in the renaissance put a lot of effort into recreating reality. Phonograph [reproduction of sound: the phonograph was predicted to be used as, speaking doll or toys, clocks that could call the hour, advertisements on the street, delivering lectures, as a musical instrument.
