Document Summary
Things that should help improve your performance. Kr and kp important to know. Task-intrinsic feedback: sensory information that is naturally available when performing a skill, vision and auditory hearing the swish as the basketball goes through the net. Augmented feedback: performance related info that is added to task-intrinsic feedback. Could give somebody augmented feedback by asking them if they notice they made the shot because of where their hands were, and saying the same thing when they miss because their hands were in the wrong spot. Giving somebody extra information to allow them to perform better: looking at something about the performance. You could think of tiger woods or any golfer. You know when you"ve had a good swing, but you don"t know how good that swing was until the ball has landed. If the ball has landed close to the hole, that is a source of external information for you. Task-intrinsic feedback: visual, auditory, proprioceptive, tactile.
