Despite this, there have been a number of scandals in the business and the public sectors. Ethical leadership is the influence of a moral person who moves others to: Factors of ethical leadership: character, action, goals, honesty, power, values, ethical leadership: character. A leader with strong character is seen as a good & honorable human being. Character refers to the disposition & core values of the leader. Aristotle argued that a moral person demonstrates the virtues of courage, generosity, self-control, honesty, sociability, modesty, fairness, and justice. Trustworthiness a variety of qualities like honesty, integrity, reliability, and loyalty. No ethical duty to hold people in high esteem, but treat with respect. Tolerant of differences; good manners; be considerate; work out differences. Do your job; preserve; think before you act. A balanced standard of justice, separate from emotions.
