Men are taught: to be detached from their emptions, to avoid discussing their emotions, that commitment is unmasculine, to have sex with lots of people, to prove their masculinity, to be aggressive and complete, to confuse love and lust. Women are taught: to be caring and empathic, to cooperate, to be tentative, that commitment is most important, to be the gatekeepers of sex, to confuse lust with love.
