Disadvantages: loss of spontaneity and authenticity because relevant answers excluded from choices provided, forced to put (cid:498)other(cid:499), categories. Don"t want to lose your rapport, large number of closed questions can reduce rapport in interviews but may be appreciated after several open questions.
