At that time li & fung was basically a broker and their value added was the language as victor"s grandfather was proficient in english. They started by extending their geographical range and hiring regional sourcing agents in taiwan, korea and singapore. Later on they became a big exporter of garments, toys, wigs and plastic flowers by using the supply chain management. Supply chain management is the management of flow of goods. It includes the movement and storage of raw materials, stocks and work in progress and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption. Interconnected or overlapping, and involved lymph channels and companies in the field of supply of products and services required by customers at the end of the supply chain networks. They have been a multinational company since 1993.
