Incentive is what drives humans to perform an action. Study of incentive structures is central to the study of all economic activities (both in terms of individual decision making, and in terms of cooperation and competition within the institutional structure of most). The economic analysis, then, the differences between communities (and between different organizations in the community) is largely to distinguish differences in the incentives faced by individuals involved in these collective efforts structures. At the end of the day, aims to provide incentives for value for money and contribute to the organization"s success. In the first reading herzberg talks about the motivational factors that work in his opinion. He talks about kita which stands for kick in the ass. Kita have either have negative or positive reaction from the employees. An organization can reduce work hours to motivate the employees. This will give them mental relaxation and will be fresh minded when they"ll be at work.
