The general rules of contract normally apply to an agency relationship. An infant, for example, may be a principal, but any contract negotiated on the infant"s behalf (except a contract for necessaries) would remain voidable at the infant"s option, even if the agent was of full age. Agents capacity is unimportant; may be a minor but can"t be insane. If they ac within their authority, liabilities are dropped after agreement is executed. By actions or impression of the principle, authority has been transferred to an agent. Agent enters contract with 3rd party on principals behalf, the principal is not permitted to deny it. If 3rd party is not notified of agent"s termination, any agreement made within that time is liable to the principal.
