It causes flaccid paralysis of muscles: ecoli: bacteria that normally lives in small intestines. Few strains can cause abdominal cramps, bloody diarrhea & vomiting. Listeria monocytogenes: salmonella: infection that infects intestinal tract. Bacteria lives in gut of infected humans & animals: vibrio: usually associated with undercooked seafood. Sexual transmitted bacterial infections (stds): chlamydia: infection in men & women cause by chlamydia trachomatis. Increases risk of pelvis inflammatory disease (pid) in women: syphilis: affect men & women.
