Pasteur decided to make a vaccine, not find one in nature but make them from scratch. Is a very severe virus and have a very long incubation period. They quickly need to enter into neuronal cells. He decided to use these vaccines on a child. The vaccine is made out of attenuated virus that cannot enter the neuronal cells, so it wanders around the immune system, and makes antibodies by b cells eventually. When you are infected with rabies, there"s not enough immunity to protect you from the virus. The virus eventually makes its way to the central nervous system. In each cell you are going to find a huge amount of viruses that you can see them without antibodies. In 2001, a lot of people were killed: rubella is similar to the zika virus.
