Sam hose, rural georgia, 1899 (cid:862)l(cid:455)(cid:374)(cid:272)h(cid:863): to put to death, especially by hanging, by mob action and without legal authority. It usually referred to the hanging of african-americans in 1880s particularly in the usa. Events of the 1880s still bring some controversies because it was a complicated case. Resulted in a lot of myths and speculations. Murders too place on the farm, just outside of london, ontario. The whole district was opened up for surveys; lots of settlers moved: a lot of land was still vacant. Most of the settlers who lived in the areas, were british immigrants.
