Psychological health has to do with emotions, the mental part- cognition and the behavioural. A balance among thoughts and feelings resulting in appropriate, high productivity and contribution to the society as well as non-destructive behaviours. Mental well-being (absence of mental disorders) and maintain homeostasis (internal balance) and normal life stressors. Mental health is the number cause of disabilities claim. Mental health is assessed on mild, moderate and severe. 1 in 5 canadians experience mental health problem in any given year. Up to 25% of disability costs could be avoided through early identification. Estimated mental health problems cost to canadian economy is in the excess and intervention measures of billion annually. Mental health issues could cost canadian businesses an estimated billion in lost productivity over the next 3 decades if not addressed. Fostering an organizational structure that promotes psychological health and safety in the workplace.
