So now we are home but there are some complications. In first half of the odysseus:- it was all about resolving situation on ground which we had an idea of in books 1- 4 :- We have an oikos, a domestic unit in chaos. Focus on storytelling- questions of identity, roll around disguise and authentic being. Back up of odyssey is set up as series of recognition and misrecognition. Odysseus will land but he can"t just stroll into palace, there are many obstacles that will revolve around idea of someone proving who they are. Everything is slowing down, odysseus is transitioning into real time. Last 4 to 5 books, compressed several years worth of adventures crammed into a few others. We are circling back around to beginning, to where odysseus started 20 years ago. These questions are shaping odysseus" reintegration to his home after 20 years. We whipped through 10 years in the first few books.
