The odyssey lecture 28, books 15 - 17. We are in midst of back half of odyssey. In this middle of back half of odysseus. One is recognition and we are twinning it with revenge. Essentially the second half of the odyssey is a revenge plot. We have someone who has been wronged, inching slowly their way back to the rightful position. Second theme to watch is idea of the slaves in odyssey" household, which ones are good and which ones are bad. We see the slaves that odyssey left behind fit beautifully economy of in good and bad, loyal and disloyal. We know odysseus will recognise but he is also there to test the people he left behind. We will see several diff characters how have been on their own without master supervision, odysseus and see how they react.
